Zongzi ClassHello everyone! On June 20th 2015, we are going to learn how to make Zongzi, the traditional Dragon Boat Festival food, at an Eco-farm in Songjiang District.
 
Activities:

  • Celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with us!
  • Get a chance to learn how to make Chinese rice dumplings with different fillings such as meat, red beans, Chinese candied dates, and more!
  • Choose your own activities to do on the farm. While you hang out on the farm, you can jump rope, roll loop, ride surrounding the village, and lots more!


 
Date: Saturday June 20th 2015, from 9:00am to 5:30pm
 
Itinerary:
9:00am: We will meet near Jing’an temple to and drive to Eco-Farm in Songjiang.
10:00-10:10: Arrive at Eco-Farm, and meet with the farm master and listen to the brief introduction of the farm, get activities card.
10:10-11:30: Farm-activities time: natural scenery visiting, farming experience.
11:30-12:30: Lunch time. Enjoy a local lunch where all the vegetables and rice are organic from the farm.
12:30-13:30: Free time. Hanging out in the farm, Jumping rope, rolling hoop and ridding surround the village.
13:30-15:30: Learn how to make Zongzi. (Picking up firewood is necessary)
15:30-16:30: Outdoor Kong fu Tea tasting time, we will tasting different tea
16:30-17:30: Back to Shanghai by bus.

Price: 399 per person. The price includes lunch, transportation, material fee, etc. Children 3 & under free. 4-11 year olds: 299 RMB per child (include lunch, cooking course, insurance, activities material costs (tools, seeds, book, colorful pencils, flower pots, etc.)
 
Option: Bike rent with registration 30 RMB, let us know when you register
